Calendar of Public Events

A federal program called Conversations With America is designed to encourage public comment on how to improve government services to citizens. The following monthly calendar lists meetings that provide forums for public questions and comments.

Tennessee Association of Utility Districts, Utility Leadership Conference

November 13, 8:30a.m.– 5:00 p.m.; November 14, 8:30 a.m.– 11:45a.m. (EST)

Park Vista Hotel, 705 Cherokee Orchard Road, Gatlinburg, Tennessee

On November 14, TVA will coordinate and participate in a panel discussion regarding water efficiency. TVA will make a presentation on the water-energy connection, water conservation as an integral part of TVA’s Environmental Policy, and how TVA and Water Utility professionals can work together to implement and promote the sustainable use of water. Other panel presenters will discuss EPA’s WaterSense program and Consolidated Utility District’s water conservation rates.
